Subcommittee Holds Its Sixth Meeting
The Subcommittee of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), tasked with documenting the human rights and humanitarian repercussions resulting from the Iranian attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain, held its sixth meeting under the chairmanship of Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of NIHR. The meeting was convened to review the progress made in preparing the comprehensive report on monitoring and documenting the humanitarian and human rights impacts arising from these attacks.
During the meeting, the Subcommittee reviewed the final version of the report in light of the observations and comments submitted by members of the Board of Commissioners following their review. The comments were discussed and the necessary amendments were completed. The Subcommittee subsequently approved the report in its final form in preparation for its submission to His Majesty the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Subcommittee also discussed the next phase of work, including the mechanisms for publishing and distributing the report at the local, regional, and international levels, in coordination with the relevant authorities. These efforts aim to enhance the dissemination of the report’s findings and recommendations among all relevant stakeholders and to highlight its key conclusions and outcomes.
